We’re excited to share that our very own Jane Silk, VP of Sales, EMEA, is part of the CRN A-List 2023 for another year!

The CRN A-List introduces the who’s who of the UK IT channel. They were asked eight fiendish questions designed to play to their thoughtful and irreverent sides.

What has been your personal highlight of 2022?

Following on from our recent acquisition of Spinnakar, their successful integration into the Climb family is both a highlight and another exciting new development in Climb’s expansion.

If you were ruler of your own country, what law would you introduce first?

I’d make ‘How to manage your personal finances’ a compulsory part of the secondary school curriculum.

Which channel or tech leader (outside of your own company) has impressed you most in 2022?

I genuinely can’t think of just one leader that impressed me more than any other.

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

“Danger: live wires.”

What was your first job?

My very first job was working as a waitress in a fast-food restaurant – not very glamorous but the view of the sea was great!

What was the last book you read, and was it any good?

I re-read To Kill A Mockingbird after many years, having first read the book at school. Second time around I still really enjoyed the book – its message about racism, prejudice and standing up for your beliefs are just as relevant today as they were when the book was first written.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned from another business leader or mentor?

It sounds like a cliché but two ears, one mouth!

Who would play you in a movie of your life?

Emma Thompson because my guilty pleasure is historical dramas and I like to think I’m always up for a good laugh.
