What is the upgrade and reassignment timeline when migrating from Creative Cloud to Teams and then to Creative Cloud Pro Plus?
At the moment customers still have 30 days from anniversary date for a deprovision period. This means that any upsell that has happened must be completed with re-assignment by the 30 days after anniversary date.
Can education customers migrate licenses at any time during their contract in VIP Marketplace, and what are the limitations?
Adobe has extended migration anytime API to specific education products path to migrate licenses even during the lifetime of an education customer’s contract. This Marketplace functionality must be implemented by the direct partner. When using this functionality, the customer must reassign licenses immediately, as there is no deprovisioning period and the legacy licenses are removed as part of the order transaction. Migration paths are predefined and, at this time—due to technical reasons—there are no migration paths available to student licenses.
Which products will be discontinued?
End of Life Date to be determined. Adobe will officially end-of-life the following Creative Cloud for Teams (CCT) offerings in Higher Education in VIP and VIP Marketplace:
- Creative Cloud for Teams All Apps
- Creative Cloud for Teams All Apps with Adobe Stock
- Adobe XD for Teams
- After Effects for Teams
- Audition for Teams
- Dimension for Teams
- Dreamweaver for Teams
- Illustrator for Teams
- InCopy for Teams
- InDesign for Teams
- Lightroom Classic for Teams
- Photoshop for Teams
- Premiere Pro for Teams

When is Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) Teams reaching end‑of‑life?
Adobe Creative Cloud Teams is planned for end‑of‑life at a future date to be determined. Once the end‑of‑life date is finalized, Teams SKUs will no longer be available for purchase or renewal.
What options are available to a customer with CCT?
We encourage customers to consider moving to Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus for Faculty and Staff. Customers of Creative Cloud for Teams single applications, if not interested in taking advantage of the full experience of Creative Cloud All Apps, are encouraged to consider Creative Cloud for Enterprise single application offerings.
What advantages do the Enterprise options provide over Teams?
Upgrading to Enterprise provides additional features such as:
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Enhanced security controls
- More advanced admin and license management
What happens if a customer's Teams anniversary date is April 1 or later?
Customers with an anniversary date of April 1 or later cannot renew Teams.
- Even if a PO is submitted in March, Adobe processes it on the anniversary date, so Teams SKUs cannot be used.
- Before the anniversary date, they may purchase prorated Teams SKUs, but those will expire on the anniversary date.
- After the anniversary, only Enterprise SKUs can be purchased.
What if a customer's Teams anniversary date is March 31 or earlier?
To renew with Teams before they are discontinued:
- Orders must be submitted by March 25.
- After March 25, Adobe cannot guarantee that Teams SKUs will process before the March 31 EOL deadline.
Will customers be automatically migrated to new offerings?
No. Customers will not be auto-transitioned. Those choosing Creative Pro Plus should make an informed decision. Partners play a key role in guiding customers through this process.
Do customers lose access when Creative Cloud Team products reach End of Life?
No. Customers retain access until their next renewal date. However, discontinued products cannot be purchased or added to contracts after their final sales date, unless customers opt in for a 3-Year commit before the end-of-life date.
What are the new Adobe Sign Offers?
Sign “3K for 3K” Offer
- Same offer that has been in VIP, just moving to MP pricelist
- New customers only; no renewals so customer reverts to standard pricing after they use their transactions
- Offer available in VIPMP: Target March 1, 2026
- Minimum and maximum order quantity is 3K
- Commercial, Education, Government (non-US Government)
Sign “1.5K for 1.5K” Offer
- Same offer that has been in VIP, just moving to MP pricelist
- New customers only so no add-ons
- Offer available in VIPMP: Target March 1, 2026
- Minimum order quantity is 1.5K, so customer can purchase > 1.5K transactions at the same price
- Commercial, Education, Government (non-US Government)
How would you like these SKUs setup?
- 3K Pack includes 3K transactions at an estimated street price of $1 per transaction. Customer purchases the bundle & receives 3K transactions.
- 1,500 Starter Bundle: customer purchases 1,500+ transactions (using the starter bundle sku) at an estimated street price of $1.46 per transaction.
- The objective is to provide the customer with an option for starting with a small number of transactions perhaps with a specific workgroup.
Should there be renewals?
No renewals. These offerings are for new Sign customers.
What about the 1500 starter packs? Do these work the same way as the 3000 packs?
The 1,500 Starter Bundle is set up for a minimum order quantity of 1,500 transactions so customer purchases 1,500 or more transactions.
The 3K Pack is set up as a single SKU with 3K transactions. No ability to add-on at the pack price after initial order. Add-on transactions should be standard SKU/price.
Can customers addon to the 1500 pack like it says in the description?
No. This is for new customers so if the customer needs additional transactions they would use standard SKU/pricing.
Do you want all these SKUs to be hidden from price files and the web?
These SKUs should be published. It would be helpful if the description can point out that these options are introductory options for new Sign customers.
What Adobe products include Firefly features in HED and K12?
Nonprofit organizations in our EDU channel can purchase HED licenses except for the student offerings (SLP and CC Pro Plus for Students).
Which Adobe licenses are eligible for Firefly add‑on credits?
Add-on Credits needs to be sold as add-on to Creative Cloud Pro Plus only. Any other licensing (Like Shared Device License or Adobe Express) cannot take any advantage from the add-on credits.
Is the standard access to Adobe Firefly free?
The standard generative AI access is included in all Education packages (excluding Shared Device Licenses).
Please note the different amount of monthly credits that come with each offering.
How can I get premium access to Adobe Firefly?
The premium generative AI access is only available with CCPP (Creative Cloud Pro Plus).
Can we quote Adobe Firefly as a standalone application?
No, there is no available Adobe Firefly standalone version in the Adobe EDU channel.
My customer wants unlimited AI generative credits how do I quote this?
Standard generative AI credits:
The only product in our EDU channel with unlimited standard generative AI credits is the Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus license.
There are two versions available:
- Faculty/Staff
- Students
The student version is meant for student use and the faculty who teach/support the students.
Premium generative AI credits:
There is no product with unlimited premium generative credits.
We do sell Adobe Firefly credit packs for users who have the Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus license.
These credit packs are not pooled for a group of people. They are assigned and consumed by the one user.
My customer is interested in a trial or beta of Firefly how does this work?
Trial or Beta is not available for the Education market.
I am seeing the offering on Adobe.com for "Education" a bit different than what you stated above.
Adobe.com and what is available to our customers in the EDU channel is different. The information stated below is the available offer for Education customers in the HED, K12 tech education space market we serve.
Is 3YC available for education customers?
Yes. The 3YC option exists for education, but it does not offer extra discounts since education pricing is already heavily reduced.
How does 3YC work?
Customers agree to auto-renew a set number of licenses annually on their Anniversary Date for three years. In VIP Marketplace, the minimum commitment renews automatically each year during the term.
When do price changes apply for 3YC customers?
Price changes apply only after the three-year term ends, at renewal.
What happens if customers add seats mid‑cycle?
Customers can add seats for existing or new products at their original pricing until the next renewal date. These additions do not increase the committed quantity.
What does Extended Term mean?
Extended Term: 3/6/paid upfront, up to 48 months for education customers. Does not lock pricing; added licenses use current prices. Does not protect against product discontinuation or price increases. Customers with extended terms cannot enroll in 3YC.
What do partners need to do to initiate 3YC?
- Available only for customers with 10+ licenses.
- Resellers can send VIP MP 3YC invitations before or after volume discounts.
- Invitations can be sent before the first order or after qualifying orders.
- A qualifying order must be completed within 30 days.
What happens to customers on 3YC with discontinued products?
Generally, if a product is discontinued during the 3YC term, a Member can no longer purchase the product after its last sale date. However, in the case of Creative Cloud Teams (CCT) end of life, members under 3YC can continue adding Teams licenses until the 3YC renewal date, provided they comply with agreement terms.
What happens to customers not on 3YC but with auto‑renewal switched on at renewal of discontinued product?
Auto-renewal will be ignored even if auto-renewal is on. Therefore, partners will need to help customers migrate to new offers prior to renewal.
